Engineering and Innovation Centre
UCLan’s Engineering Innovation Centre (EIC) opened in October 2019 and is an advanced, state-of-the-art teaching and research facility which engages directly with industry and provides students with real-world experience on live projects.
Harrington and Greenbank Social Space
Situated in the heart of campus, they provide areas for staff and students to work, socialise and relax. They are bright, spacious, comfortable, with key design features such as glass roofs and indoor hidden gardens, as well as moveable furniture so students can reconfigure the space to suit their needs.
Foster Social Space

Student Centre
The Student Centre will form part of an iconic gateway into campus. Housing the majority of student services, the building will also be a welcome to visitors, staff and students alike. A truly multi-purpose building, it has been designed to provide space for UCLan's student support network, a deli, a small museum and space to host corporate and student led events.
New Square
Occupying the space in front of the new Student Centre, the New Square will dominate the landscape and welcome those who visit the University. It will be a space for the community to relax, socialise and host large-scale events. Transforming the landscape the squares will be the final piece in the gateway to Campus.
Oasis: Faith and Spirituality Centre
The University has built a bespoke, purpose-built multi-faith centre for the staff and students at the University. It was designed after a series of consultations with students and the Students' Union to ensure the best utilisation of the space. Oasis creates the perfect environment for prayer, contemplation and reflection for all.
